Retrofitting of “Ponte della Priula” by consolidation of existing foundations and construction of an isolated deck above the existing arches

The design involved the strengthening of both the foundations and piers through injections of reinforced jet grouting, the construction of new concrete beams inside the arches, the construction of a new steel-concrete deck (presenting 3 main beams and several double T crossbeams to support the external cantilevers) isolated from the substructures with viscoleastic dumpers.
